Our general manager, Kim Yardley, surprised guests again with his cooking skills last week when he took part in our monthly ‘Pudding Club’.
Kim impressed the team and visitors with his Prosecco Bellini jelly with hazelnut amaretti and berries, so much so that he was the winner!
Our Pudding Club gives people a chance to enjoy a specially-created two-course lunch followed by an assiette of desserts, created by our brigade of Chefs and on this occasion, a surprise ‘guest chef!
Guests are invited to ‘score’ each dessert with the overall winner announced at the end of the meal.
Kim said: “I’ve been promising the team that I’d take part in our Pudding Club for a while, I took part last month and enjoyed it so much I wanted to be involved again – it’s such a popular event that always sells out. However, the kitchen team have 2 AA Rosettes so I faced some difficult competition – hence, I spent a couple of months practising my pudding!”
